Welcome to How to Play & Teach the Ukulele - Intermediate


We're so thrilled to be on this musical journey with you! We are looking forward to continue helping you learn the beautiful and melodic ukulele and develop skills to teach the "uke" to children ages 8-12+. If you already have some basic ukulele skills, you're in the right place. If you need a primer, be sure to check out 'How to Play and Teach the Ukulele to Beginners!

Through this course, you'll build upon your existing ukulele skills with new chords, strumming patterns, and fingerpicking lessons! This entire system is built to help you enhance your playing skills while also learning how to teach more intermediate skills to students.

    In this session, we'll pick up where we left off with the Green Belt and introduce the Blue Belt next! You'll learn to explore scales in C as well as more fun and funny songs to keep the energy high!

          You should be so proud of yourself for your progress! You're almost done! In this last session of the intermediate course, we'll be revising G, C, D7, as well as the 12-bar blues in G. 

          You'll even have a chance to play through scales in G before graduating through the purple belt!
