This song and dance activity is based on a series of lessons including:
- Movement and dance with leaders (3-8 years)
For ages 7-9 years
- Orff arrangement for non-melodic and melodic percussion instruments
- Improvisation for voice, recorder and percussion instruments
- Ukulele accompaniment
- Vocal harmonies
- Found sounds and games
- Techniques - imitation, pentatonic melody, ostinato, canon, rondo, whole song method
- Teaching manipulatives – an introduction to music reading through melody shapes and symbols, number notation and xylo sheets
